I love sausages. Happy to go along but wont be entering, because although I do love sausages I eat quite slowly, so probably couldn't do it competitively. I might just buy the sausage and eat them at leisure

I am sure Ruggie will be up for this :P :P :P Sausage and chips anyone :?:

Hi Folks

Had a chat with Hillers and it's just a case of turn up on the day for the fun! 8-)

I've already paid my fee...with a bit extra...and now the Ref has agreed to make sure I get the Chipolata sausage...and Strongbow the extra fat Cumberland sausage...seems fair to me!

Should be fun.....as long as we're not sick!

Looks like the weather is going to be bad tomorrow. I am happy to give people a lift in my car.

Strongy/Ruggie what time are you thinking of going?

Les.

Well had a good laugh this afternoon. And the results are in for the just4riders sausage eating team ;)

In First place and Champion Sausage eater is .......... Strongbow with a time of approx. 2 minutes and 30 seconds. 8-)

In second place with a still respectable time of ......... 4 minutes approx. is Ruggie :P

Finally in very last place is Jevo with a time of ........... over 7 minutes

At least I managed to finish mine some competitors did not finish at all.

The best time of the day when we left was under 2 minutes by one of the women who work at Hilliers. I would have like to have watched her do it ;)

I am currently uploading a video of the event but its going to take time to put on line. Check out the media section for photos and video.

Thanks lads for taking part all in aid of Children in need. Oh and thanks to Pudsey for the group hug ! :-D

Les.

Hi Folks

Spoke to Hillers today and unfortunately they are not doing the competition this year :(

Something to do with a certain person taking too long to eat theirs so they had to pay their staff overtime. Hum, I wonder who that could be?

Rob, I think the only way to do that would be to eat at Shanghai every night for a week to get the stomach extended then hit that plateful. It could be done but needs some real training, not just a big appetite. It'll be fun watching you though! :D :D :D
