Despite not even being half way though 2011, this morning, I find myself already starting to think about 2012 and the things I'd like to do and places I'd like to visit. Because I can't think of a better group of people to spend time with than you guys, I'm wondering if anyone else would be interested in joining me for things like;
A two week tour of Scotland - up the East coast and back down the West coast. - 1500 miles or so. Whisky, haggis and midges!

A Summer Solstice run from the most Easterly point in England (Lowestoft!!) to the most Westerly point in Wales, St Davids Head. Ride out to Lowestoft, stay the night, watch the sunrise (at about 5am!!)

over the North Sea then ride all day to watch the sun set over the Irish Sea. Stop the night there and come back the following day - 750 or so miles.
A ride through the Lakeland passes - I so wanted to do this earlier in the year but things didn't quite go as planned! - 700 miles (ish).
A Cornish adventure? Take the Atlantic Highway through North Somerset, North Devon and into Cornwall. Taking in Minehead, Bideford, Bude, Padstow, Newquay, St Agnes, Hayle, Penzance, and Lands End before hanging a left and returning via Falmouth, Looe, the "English Riviera" and the New Forest.
I'd also like to get a few weekends in at Squires to chillax and maybe do a few more of those fantastic Yorkshire Moor and Dales roads.
So there we are.... I think that might keep me busy for a while.
Anyone interested or have other ideas of places to go?
