I've finally got through all the work I needed to do prior to next weeks major audit (with the backdrop of the England v Scotland RWC game.... well done England!). I've only had 6 hours sleep but I've freed up the day. Yay! I'm off to the footie taking the back roads to Wolverhampton instead of a head down, arse up charge up the M5.

Newent, Dymock, then turn right onto the A49 at Hope under Dinsmore. Leominster, Ludlow then hanging a right onto the A4117 then immediate left onto a great little B road through to Bridgenorth. From there it's a short run to Wolvo on the A454.

Happy days!

Damned warm out there today, wasn't it? Rode the route as above and I've come to the conclusion that I love Shropshire! Fantastic roads and the views with the trees in their autumnal colours was superb. I'm seriously considering doing it all again tomorrow morning before the Bike Meet at Fladbury.

Doesn't matter where you go, just get out there and enjoy it while you can. I heard the long range forecast means that gritters may well be out in the third week of this month!!!!!!!

Mad, ain't it??
