My mother today was 1st on scene to bike accident on A46 by painswick golf club today. She arrived at scene to find 3 car drivers (1 of which knocked biker off) without a clue what to do, she was out of car and to biker imediatley appaeled by the lack of care or even gerneal common scene of the other drivers! She ordered amublance to be called whilst withstraining a clearly injured biker. She belives he will make a full recovery and wasnt too bad (I had a serious one, and she was a nurse), broken wrist/arm, no signs of internal injury. If anyone you know please let me know how they are doing, mother was worried, but knowing he seem non life threatening was appealed at the state of the rest of the drivers! The guy was in a state of confusing and fighting with my mum to stop her holding him down, however she knew she was doing the right thing and calmed him down and still till doctor and paramedic arrived.

Job well done Bikerz Mum. Not a nice thing to see and people as you said just don't know what to do. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to the biker.

I presume no one knows who it was? Im very proud of her too. Im glad Im at uni and she told me on phone as if she told me in person it would have been far too hard with what happened to me, I could tell she had a tear in her eye.

P.S. Strongy did you find out about the age thing?

Dont worry buddy. Tho I think someone should point out that is ridiculas! They wont get many volenteers that way. I know some will jump on the insurance band waggon, however we both know that isnt the reason as I am 24 and pay £97 fully comp to insure a Honda CB1300. My mate is a paramedic and drives blues and twos shouts at the age of 21. Even a mate drives Dr.'s on shouts at th age of 26!

I have no ide why they have come up with this daft reason? 21 or 25 I could understand.

Re age for blood bike, sorry but if you think we dont get many volunteers because of the age restiction you`re very much mistaken and there is no reason to get angry about it. Rules are rules and if you`re not able to accept it we dont want you! Plaz is right with what he said.
