Europe Trip 2011

Hi

As some of you are aware I am planning another Europe trip this year :-D

I will make this thread sticky and will keep it up to date with the latest information.

Right we had a meeting the othernight and at this stage we have 8 people who are interested in the trip. It was agreed that those people have till next tuesday to decide whether they want to go for definate as the train will need booking soon.

The Dates have been sorted and they are as follows :- Depart 6th July and return 18th July.

Its was also noted that last year was too short as we only had 5 days at Wasserburg hence the longer duration this time. We will also be travelling down by train most of the way. If you are interested but couldnt make the meeting the other night get in touch as I can still get you in

Costs that we know of to date are as follows:-

Eurotunnel £70 Return
European Motorail Train £211 Return
Accomodation in Wasserburg 60 Euros approx
2 nights in Switzerland, Italy 70 euros approx breakfast included.

We have now booked the Eurotunnel and have accomodation sorted at wasserburg.

Update..........Paid 10% deposit for 7 people on the Car train this morning. It is now booked and I will await paperwork before I work out the final price for you all. Now im really really exited.........Been so hard dealing with this company as they dont speak great English...............but its sorted YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depart 6th July Dusseldorf.

Depart 18th July Munich
Loading time: 21:50

The Sports shop in Stratford are selling new darts for beginners....they're called a Javelin!!!!! :lol:

Should be able to win a few games with them :-D

Hi

I am back after sleeping for 2 days solid nearly upon return :lol:

. Must of been a build up of sleeping tablets or all that riding :lol:

Just like to say thankyou to everyone that came along and hope you enjoyed it. I have to say the Highlite for me was the dolomites, I will remember this place for the rest of my life. The roads and scenary were breath taking. When I get abit more time I will try and post a story or 2 up :lol:
