Evesham Balloon Fiesta and Classic Car Show
Evesham Balloon Festival provides a wonderful spectacle for visitors and local residents in the Vale of Evesham. The two day event takes place in Crown Meadow Evesham next to the beautiful River Avon in Evesham Town Centre. The Event not only features hot air ballooning but also live music, a classic car show, fun fair and spectacular Night Glow and Fire Works finale. There are stalls providing local food and drink as well as gifts and souvenirs. The event is free to attend and there is plenty of parking in the town centre and on the riverside at Corporation Meadow. Programme now confirmed! Saturday 4th June From 6am: Dawn balloon launch 10am: Classic cars arrive including: Classic campers, MGs, Piper Sports cars, AC Cobras, American Classics, the Teal Owners Club plus many more. 11am: Stalls and fun fair open 12noon: Hovercraft Display and rides until 7.30pm 12.30pm: Live music starts with Balloon Festival debutants Fighting Shadows, a 4 piece acoustic rock, mix of originals and covers 1.40pm: Keep The Change, a new young original pop punk trio 2.00pm: Touch, a young local band 'good time' original. if you like Kiss and Van Halen, you'll love em! 2.50pm Bang Bang Billie, a female fronted local band from soul to modern classics 3.40pm The Marabooboo Allstars, from 80's to 00's with The Boo Boo's, Evesham's top covers band 4.35pm Ra Ra and The Vine Project, a young female fronted band, originals and the odd cover following up last years Balloon fest debut 5.30pm Fifteen English Pounds, Classic Rock covers from the singing Landlord and his bunch of Merry men From 6pm Dusk balloon launch 6.15pm Into The Fire Indie Pop rock originals from another 'New' Evesham band 7.05pm The Road Hogs playing more classic covers, the Hogs are our overseas guests, jetting in from Coventry 8.00pm Crazy 88's 8.20pm to 8.55pm popular local covers band, returning for their second Balloon Festival. an interesting mix of faves 8.55pm KTO formerly Kathleen Turner Overdrive who aim to Rock your socks off. 10.20pm Night Glow 10.45pm Fireworks Finale Sunday 5th June From 6am Dawn Balloon Launch 9am Sunday Street Market in Bridge Street, Evesham 11am Fun Fair open, Classic Cars on display all day 11.30am Fun Run warm up 11.45am The W Factor Finalists 12noon Fun Run start 1.30pm Hovercraft rides until close 3pm Close
