I was wondering if a lot of you on guys are spending more time on Facebook than
on here these days as it does seem noticably quieter when, thanks to the weather,
you'd expect it to be even busier :?:
Personally I don't use facebook & avoid any social networking sites like the plague
which is why I'm only just finding out about things like days later
I only just found out about RF's off so I'd like to wish him & mrs Rf all the best & hope
to see you back on a bike very soon 8-)

Facebook is the devils bible I tells ya

Hi Bazza,

People use Facebook for more than J4R, so they are always going to use it. (I use it to keep track of my kids, family and friends not on J4R )The J4R site gives you more flexibility and J4R will remain the main way to communicate about ride outs, events and general info/chat.

However while I was away on the ilfated NW200 trip I had limited internet access. I was able to use the Facebook iPhone app to post up what was happening. I know these were copied onto J4R.

I think that there is still a lot going on, on the site and I know that there is a lot of events coming over the next few weeks. So watch this space. :-D

Les.

:) can I add that this site is open to all to post up rides , bike chat or vid clips etc. It's up to members to contribute , the more that do the better the site.
As for face book it' sounds like you've had a bad experiance with a social network but myself find it soo quick to upload pics and a caption from an iPhone for family and friends to see and stay in touch, however as les has pointed out J4R will always b the main stay of the club.
Good luk by the way with your shims being done, post up on how it all goes, someone may need it done to their bike and could benefit from the post.
C u soon :-D

Hi

Its up to us all to post things up and hopefully keep the site as busy as possible. I have to admit its been pretty quiet around here lately as alot of people are not active on the site. You say that you have only just learnt about Rf's accident well that was posted last saturday under rideouts and never on facebook at all :?: . You should have gone to specsavers

As facebook goes I have a new Iphone and it allows me to post pics on facebook as I take the pic so thats why I have used it more recently so my friends and family can see what im upto. I mean I wouldnt post a rideout up or put a social meet up on facebook I would use the site for that. We have real busy times ahead so keep and eye on the site bud.

Regards Strongbow

Don't care what any of you say, I'm going to petition David Cameron & his "flunky"
to have Facebook disbanded & closed down for ever 8-)

Anyone who's with me sign below

as strongy said, anything to do with j4r,rideouts,social events ect is always posted on this site.
i use it to keep in touch with my daughter who is at uni.
if you dont like it,dont use it.!!!!
