Friday 29th April Rideout

Hi

On friday 29th April Im going to Elan Valley and either have a picnic or a bbq by one of the Lakes. This will be an all day ride and will be going there via Hay on Wye and Builth Wells. I will stop at Hay for a toilet break and a leg stretch.

Coming back will be via Crossgates, Newtown, Craven arms these are some of my fav roads 8-)

I will be meeting at bunny at 9:45am and leaving at 10am. Im sorry but I gotta get out on friday cant be watchin the wedding :roll:

moody and i will be off to elan this weekend but itll be on the best day weather wise so lets hope for SUN SUN AND MORE SUN 8-)

Strongbow, you should stop off at Stokesy Castle near Craven Arms its beautiful and one of my all time favourite places. I agree with you the roads up there are amazing. Shropshire is a very unspoilt county. Did you get to go to Llanthony Priory in the Black Mountains? Its off the A465 north of Abergavenny towards Hay on Wye. Hope you all have a fantastic time.

Well what seemed to be possibly a wash-out turned out to be an excellent day again!! :-D

Rained at home just before I left but dry from Cheltenham and all the way to Wales and back. Had a BBQ at Elan with the sun out and a right good laugh coutesy of Strongy and his popping out eyes and Rich with his 'salad' in his burger bun!!

Quite a few bikes out also. 8-)

A massive thank you to Prince William and his new bride for allowing us the day off and for keeping the roads completely clear of Sunday drivers! 8-)

and to Strongy for organising today. His cooking skills are out of this World.....or something like that
