Hi all
I was accosted by Jevo earlier this week during a seminar I was speaking at -- he was very insistent that I come along and visit the site
I'm pleased to see there's a pretty hefty social scene going on, plus all the rideouts you've all been enjoying. I'm always up for bowling, beer, burgers (run out of 'B's now...) and whatever else is on offer.
I'm usually seen whizzing about between Glos-Stroud weekdays and wherever else I can get to at the weekend. I commute every day, even in the poor weather (had to draw the line at 6-7" of snow though

) so if anyone would like to join in the berating of the Bunny Worshippers on their Facebook site please let me know (if I get another cabbage whizz past my nose-cone whilst going round that bleedin' roundabout...

)
Anyhoo! Bikes -- been into bikes since I was a kid, but only recently managed to part with enough cash to do a DAS and actually buy a machine. That was in September 2006, so this is my 3rd winter riding (no wonder my textiles stink!) My first bike was a tidy Suzuki GSX600F - hence the Katana moniker - which was ace for grinding my teeth and finding out how a bike actually goes around corners. The missus and me did a whole heap of miles on that wee beastie.

I now have a 2002 VFR VTEC, which I bought for a song with only 4500 miles on the clock in May 2008, due to it having some notable drop damage to the fairing. We've done a further 12K together since then and I'm desperately trying to find the cash for the dratted 16K service at the moment. Stupid valve service too, so looking at around £500!!

I'll post some pics later on this evening of bikes past and present, and I'm sure the missus will be along presently too (she just *had* to pass her test too once I'd done mine

)
Hope to meet you all soon
