Yesterday, we went to support a group of people from a local transport company who had set themselves a target of pulling a 55 tonne Hercules aircraft for a mile in aid of Afghan Heroes..... things didn't work out quite as planned as they ended up a couple of people short so a few faces you will be familiar with helped out.

Unfortunately for me, the runway went uphill for the first 1/2 mile or so, so I left everyone too it once we'd reached the top of the "hill" on the grounds of complete exhaustion!

I thought my heart was going to explode from my chest!!

After losing my bulk they decided they need more of the same....

When I first saw that photo I thought Digger had fell asleep on the job! ;)

Even my daughter joined in!

Well done to everyone involved. Bloody hard work but worth all of the effort!
