Hello to everyone,

My name is Pete, I ride and have ridden ZZR1100's since 1991, and it is fair to say that I am a long time fan of this Kwaker brand.

I have been riding since I was 17, and back in 1987 started a motorcycle despatch company called Panikz Express in Gloucester. This business gave me the opportunity to travel all over Europe and the UK, and honed my riding (and crashing) skills, as well as introducing me to the Legendary ZZR1100C1 in 1991 (after riding to Siret, in Northern Romania in the same year).

I currently ride a ZZR1100D4, and have to say that I miss my C-model ZZR tremendously. I still have it in bits, and am considering using parts from my D to revive the C model, as the C was faster in every respect than the D, far more stable, and better on fuel. So if anyone has C model parts, I am interested in getting my hands on them ;), well the parts that is

My current ZZR1100D4;-

My brother has a Pro-Biker hotel in Austria. http://www.gasthofdortfwirt.com.

He is an avid biker himself, so much so, that he has several bikes, one of which (a pristine GPZ1000RX) lives in the restaurant!

Thanks Les, I look forward to riding under your newly qualified advanced guidance ;) and becoming part of J4R.

I PM'd you regarding the C-Cam booking at H.G., H.G. contacted me to say that C-Cam would be contacting me re the observed ride-out.

Thanks again for directing me to them and to here. I look forward to many years of J4R membership. Methinks MAG/GlosMAG could do with a web forum too. ;)

Thanks All, I look forward to meeting everyone just as soon as I've fixed my bike (rear tyre, brakes pads, & fork seals). Should be sorted next week. :)
