Finally managed to arrange a date for my Mod One and pre-test practice day, which will be on 13th & 14th October. Quivering like a jelly just thinking about it. I soooo hate tests, but needs must . . . . gulp, gulp ahhhh the red wine is already having the much desired calming effect!

8-) Well, good luck with it, but don't get breathalysed on the day of the test.

I take it there's a mod 2 as well??

All I had was an old bloke and a clip board "jump" out on me all those years ago.

If only it was that easy, nowadays you gotta do a whole lot more to pass and it costs a bloody fortune all in!

Yep Mod One is followed by a Mod Two. I'm gonna do it on a 125 so I'll get a restricted license, but the advantage is that I can take Mod Two on my own bike. As I'm used to it I'll have a better chance than on the schools bike. Gotta use the schools bike for Mode One though as my cruiser don't much like tight manouvers, such as figure-of-eights and slalems!

Yes I know, which is why I'm doing the Mod One in the schools bike. Most daunting part for me is walking the bike from one position into another at the start of the test. I've got a dodgy back and never do that with my cruiser, if I want to move it anywhere, I sit on it and move it, simples!

Incase you've not seen it, and for the guys who passed their test along time ago...this is Mod 1 and those damn cones!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, I passed my test 2 yrs ago. I beleive there has been a slight change to Mod 1. Good Luck, and I think you've had a good idea doing Mod 1 on their bike.

Thanks for that. I've watched the video and been round the circuit once (unofficially) on my own bike, which is how I know not to attempt it properly on my bike.
