Meet at Bunny for 9.30am for a prompt off at 9.45am.

Where are we going.....its a mystery :? ...as I haven't working it out yet   but I think it will involve some roads that I haven't done for a very long time. Some Motorway included to get us there quick and..and..an ice-cream (by the sea) if we are lucky! :o An all-dayer with probably 250-300 miles :-D

As its a last minute jobby, can you PM me if you want to join us. If nothing heard by 11.30pm tonight then I will probably not start from Bunny as its the Northerners that are coming so far.

Whatever you do tomorrow - enjoy! :-D

At the footie on Saturday doing my pre-season training (getting slightly inebriated ) before the season proper kicks off with a visit to Blackburn next week.

Have a good 'un though and we'll have to do a PROPER mystery tour soon.

The mystery is solved!! :?

Whizzed down the M5 and got off at Taunton then headed for the B3224 across Exmoor taking in Dunkery Beacon with the wild ponies....well they were wild after I took a few photos of them!...then onto Challacombe, Lynton and Lynmouth. The coast road then to Bridgwater via Porlock Hill....which after the Dollomites does seem a little tame...we were then going to jump back on the motorway...except it was a big carpark...so over to Glastonbury, Wells, through the centre of Bristol and then the M5.

Got home just after 9pm with 230 miles done.

Have to say...the motorway was a carpark on the way down also but did enjoy 'filtering' ....waving to a coppa in the queue and asking Mr Whippy for a 99...with flake of course!

Using the motorway is boring but it got us to some wonderful parts of the country...and some great roads!

All in all...a great day out.

Thanks to Red for joining me :-D

Well done you two. Sounds like fun.

Unfortunately, you have to suffer the motorways and dream of the decent roads at the end of it.

Thanks Ruggie, great day out, even the filtering on the motorway was weirdly enjoyable.
Loved seeing the sea, shame we couldn't have spent longer by the sea but the day did fly by!
Be great to do it again but maybe over a weekend? :-D
