Hope you like them, Ruggie took most of the racing pictures and his images are better than the ones I took. So watch out for Ruggies photos.........coming soon.

Les.

We went on 4 bikes but only 1 returned under it's own power, as Tracy's bike had a leaky radiator and was also recovered home from Cumbria.

Ruggie told me he was having a missfire at 85 mph, so he may be next!

It's not been a good week for J4R.

Les.

Yeah! I'm interested in why two rectifiers failed. My money is on a regulator or alternator overvoltage issue. Keep us up to speed Les.

Did someone say Deb had to go back to Norn Iron to pick the bike up :?:

Yeah, you could be right RF, however I have a feeling the alarm imobilizer could be at fault. Also Deb may be going back to get her bike. Depends on what the insurance assessor says.

Hmmm.... not sure why an immobiliser would cause two rectifier failures though.

Bad news on having to return to N.I. for the bike though.

I think the alarm imobliser has cut in due to the failure not the other way round. Either way the bike is just dead.

Les.

Do get the Alternator checked Les as one usually goes with the other or not long afterwards if they are about the same vintage specially as your running a house of yours
