Yes Halfords at the mo are selling 10/40 semi 5 litres for 21 squids, filters are champions and cost about 7 squids so you will have some left for topping up as well.....bargain.

The deal was a Hi flow filter ( which I've usually had ) and the oil is Silkolene , I can't remember If I've had that before to be honest but if it's no good for the clutch ( as sometimes you can have gear selection probs eg 1st hard to engage ) then I'll pop in something else :-)

Just checked and it is super 4 , will see how the tiller fairs with it ! Oil in TL quite brown now through the sight glass , I usually change it every year regardless of milage , as it don't clock more than 2 or 3 K a year .
Seems I've not lost any more clutch fluid for a while ? Hope it stays that way :-)

 got round to changing the oil & filter, no probs till i tried to loosen the filter itself which must of been done up by a gorilla :jawdrop: tried by hand first, no joy :sc: then i tried the whack a screwdriver through filter  method  this could of gone better as i realised i was trying to put the screwdriver through the threaded filter bolt in the sump :freaked: so i popped to halfords and got a filter wrench and guess wot :?: it worked :VF: :VF: i replaced old for new and did it up hand tight :2cool: ran the engine with new oil and checked for leaks from sump bolt and new filter  all fine and dry so shoved the belly pan back on ,
