Hi

Just an update for everyone that is going to Europe in July and of course for everyone else to see how the plans are going :-D :-D :-D :-D ;) . We are leaving Friday 16th July & returning Sunday 26th July.

I have booked the B&B for July 16th. We are going to have a Triple Room, Twin roon and a single room. The cost is £31 pp including breakfast. Breakfast is served berween 7am - 9am. This B&B is 9 miles away from the tunnel about 10-15mins ;) . With Ruggie getting there late its ok if one of us stays up or we put a key under the matt ;) . Here is the website link if you want to look http://www.bleriots.net/default.aspx. I have found a pic from when i stopped there brfore looking down on the bikes ;) ;)

The next thing to update you on is the accommodation. My brother has booked the flat I stayed in last time I visited him. The flat will sleep 4 people so thats the guys taken care of ;) . Here is the only pic I have of the flat ;) ;)

As for the girls they will be stopping at my brothers. He has a very big flat and he aint decided where to put you yet, he now says you might have his room instead of the front room   . What he has done though is booked the flat from the sunday afternoon to the following saturday morning at a cost of £41 per person       8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) this will include the girls. Here is a weblink to my brothers town if you want to have a look around http://www.wasserburg.de/en/touristik/impressionen/

The next thing is my brother has been speaking to his friend who lives near Wasserburg Amm Inn and he is a biker. He wants to take us on a tour for a day and also his cousin in Jonas Folger an up and coming 125cc moto gp rider so he will have loads of contacts to join us ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

We are having a get together at Ruggies tomorrow night to book the Tunnel and tie up a few loose ends. Im afraid this tour is closed now as accommodation is booked. Keep an eye on this post as more updates will follow ;) ;) Here are a couple of pics to wet you appetites

http://www.just4riders european biker tour t-shirts.

Any one interested. I have done a mock up of a suggested design for a tour t-shirt. I will arrange to get them done prior to the trip if people are interested. At the moment they white t-shirts, but we could also do a black version as well. if there is demand.

Here are the images.

Let me have your feedback and we can agree what to do about this at the next euro trip meeting.

I have not checked the price yet. I expect them to be about £10 to £12 each (guestimate) as for the colour well thats up to you. I might be getting a white and a black one.

Hi

My brother lives in a place called Wasserburg Amm Inn. He is halfway between Salzburg and Munich so we have a great base for touring. Basicly we are going the fastest route there i.e Autobahn via Aachen....... But once we get there we have plans to do Fussen(Chitty Chitty bang bang castle), Eagles nest, Stelvio Pass and Swiss alps, Salt mine, A friend of my brothers is taking us up the mountains he knows some great roads ;) ;) ;)

I cant wait now getting really exited...............

Regards Strongbow

AA got me back from Northern Island with no problem. Howver I now know why it's called "Relay". It was a 22 hour journey and very tireing. God knows what it would have been like from Europe. (You need to ask if they will recovery your bike as they may have an age/value limit). I will be looking into this myself soon. So let us all know if you find something worth signing up for.

Cheers,

Les.

But what did they offer for the money?

Was that breakdown cover and/or recovery?

Les.

The AA has always been the same.... relay, relay, relay

I'd get Green Flag or RAC regardless of the cost.
