Who's up for a weekend of camping, drinking and general merriment?? YAY!

We touched on this idea during last weekends ride out and I know some of us are bursting for a few nights under canvas <waves at Tracey>

I was thinking of Forthampton because they have everything on site (pub mainly :-D ) but if anyone else has any other suggestions let's have them.

So, when and where folks? Let's get it on!

could also do Wainlodes in Tewkesbury as they do camping and have a pub on site too. Plus not far to go, if the weather turns bad.

I am interested, depending on dates.

Les.

Hmmmm.... heard some not so good things about that one.... I'll leave it there.

Anyway, Forthampton isn't that much further away.

What dates Les??

Ok, I am happy to go with Forthampton, as for dates....not to sure we have the NW200 coming up soon. How about Whit weekend at the end of May?

Any how, I will try to fit in with the majority.

Les.

For those who haven't managed to find it yet, this is the Lower Lode Inn, Forthampton.

http://www.lowerlodeinn.co.uk/index.html

I have emailed them this morning to enquire whether they have space available for the holiday weekend.

Looks like I might be coming along on this. How many nights? Need to pick up my tent from my friends and buy a new airbed.

Les.

£7.50 a night at Forthampton... up to those who are going how long they want to be there.... 1, 2 or 3 nights!

After some discussion regarding the weather this weekend, we have decided to go for just the Saturday night. Meet at the Concorde cafe in Bristol Road, Gloucester at 9:30 am for breakfast and from there go onto Forthampton.

Everyone is welcome even if you just come for a drink during the evening.
