Well, just got back in from the Charity Scooter Ride. What a great day we have had. Many thanks to everyone. It's been a surreal day, great costume, Digger in his cow suit inclusive of udders! Plazma in his German mod outfit with wig and beard, and last but not least our very own Strongbow in the pink fairy outfit.

Lots of laughs, fun and friendly waves from everyone we met (Well almost everyone) Special mention to RF who came along with us and met up with us at each stop. Also to Blondemoment, Sal and Dan from Gloucester bike specialists who came in the support van. They took pictures and video of the event which I hope will be posted later.

No breakdowns, accidents or traffic incidents to report either. Mind you at 25 mph average speed we could not get into to much trouble could we?

Also before I forget, thanks to JamesVFR, Bazza and Ros for coming to see us off.

Thanks to everyone for a special day.

Superman (Les)

I never stopped laughing for most of the ride.... even while I was waiting for everyone to arrive at British Camp & Henley Swan all I could think of were four grown blokes riding peds and dressed in costumes. I wouldn't have missed it for the world! Funny as...

What the young lady on the bike without fuel thought as she was surrounded by Superman, a pink fairy, an aging Mod and a cow thought, God alone knows!!

Best moment was Digger scaring a 4 year old to (almost) death and the old guy telling Les it was indeed a "Wide Load". PMSL!!!

Can't wait for HTTB now!

I cannot thank you all enough for today. Best day I have had for ages. So many laughs - has anyone ever tried to drive a van with tears of laughter pouring from their eyes, believe me it's difficult
Thanks to Bazz and Roz and James (Glos Bike Specialists) for coming to see us off and for RF for accompanying us all on the complete ride.
Thanks to Sal and Dan for taking pics. Dan is editing the video and will drop it onto a disc for anyone that wants a copy.
I have posted pics onto the multi media page
