I know a few of us are planning to lend our support to this one so lis anyone up for a meet up at bunny and leave at 11:30 am to ride up to Strensham together.

Hopefully it'll be a decent turn out from J4R to support the main event which was well advertised at last nights bike night.

It's all about the future of riding motorcycles folks, let's stick it to those non-motorcycling eurocrats and tell them what they can do with their legislation.

I'd definitely go, but can't cause of L plates. But am sending my support to the protest telepathically anyway, hope it counts!

Shame that! Isn't hubby doing the run then?

I know this is last minute, but Denise from GlosMag sent me this text today.

---------------------------paste--------------------------------

Hi all, Don't forget MAG demo on Sunday. Glos MAG are leading the Michael Woods services northbound run. It's about 1 mile north of Jct 14, which you can access from the A38. We are meeting at 12:00 to leave about 13:00 and we will travel north on the M5 to jct 11. It would be great to see you all there. Ride safe whichever ride you choose. Den.

---------------------------end paste-----------------------------

I am thinking of starting from the Michael Wood services as the end point in nearer home.

Les.

OK mate. I'll do the Strensham run as there's and end point meet up with those coming down from Frankley. Have fun!

I've heard that you can only participate if you have a FULL day-glo suit...like the ones they wear on Motorway Maintenance? :?

Can you drop off at Jnc 9, Little Thief, to pick up the Northeners?

I presume that we are up for a little bimble after the demo? Would be a shame not to if the weather holds  :-D :-D

It'll soon be time to ride on an incredibly important day for motorcycling in the UK. Find your nearest start point here and remember, ALL RUNS START AT 1pm.

Be there in plenty of time, there will be TV cameras at at least 10 start points.

http://www.tinyurl.com/Action-Now-EU-Hands-Off-Biking

Almost 150,000 have now viewed the map.

Please repost the link everywhere so every rider knows.

Please remember, the strength of the day is in our conduct. Completely blocking motorways or breaking road traffic laws will undermine all the political negotiations to date. Please don't sell biking short.

If you care enough about motorcycling to ride on the 25th, remember, keep left, respect other users and disperse after about 20 minutes.
Together we'll ensure our politicians keep listening. Divided we are nothing.

Huge thanks to every one of you for all your efforts to date.

It was great to see so many of J4R members on the protest ride, despite the crappy weather! HARDCORE!!!!!!!!!! Well done everyone, I think we made our point.

It was hard work keeping the throttle hand still when there was miles of clear road in front of us.

See you all very soon.

What a turn out!

I don't think I've seen so many Harleys in one place......and it was raining   To the J4R members that went and all the Harleys...well done! :-D

A great ride...with loads of 'thumbs up' from the car drivers that we delayed. Whoops.

Over a hundred bikes made the Mag demo from Michaelwood service despite heavy rain on the day. Well done to those who took part. I was the only J4R member on that run, it was still a good run even if the weather was not kind to us. I got soaked to the skin, I guess you all got wet too.

Well done to J4R for supporting the cause.

Les.
