Rob (Strongy) is an observer so he'll give you all of the info you need but in the meantime have a look at the IAM website for info. http://www.iam.org.uk/the_advanced_programme/theadvancedridingprogrammeaskillforlife.html

I can't remember how many of this group have done the advanced test or are currently undergoing training but it is becoming a significant number thanks to Rob's encouragement. It's all about giving you more confidence in your machine and in your riding ability. Both of these things are the key as your machine will out perform you every time (unless you are some kind of motorcycle god) and I haven't seen any gods out on the road, period! :lol:

I think the cost of the course was £139 when I took the step a year ago. Anyway, check out the link and see what you think. It can be a bit daunting at first but it does all come together sooner than you initially think.

By the way, it's not a be all and end all..... you keep on learning even after becoming qualified as your perspective changes (IMHO) significantly.

Other advanced riding systems are available. :lol:

Oh and as for us lot being quiet - all I can say I was a good girl well behaved, never drank etc etc until I got mixed up with J4R Life became very exciting after that :roll:

Moreso when meals out are concerned, one that springs to mind recently was when Buzz Lightyear joined us all :lol:
