I thought as road riders you might find some of this of interest?

Yeah, I know it's from the GS Owners club - but the guy who wrote the original posts (Giles Lamb) is an ex Kent bike cop...

Some good info mixed with some not so good. Giles Lambs posts are OK, however it makes you think when members of the forum are called subscribed Tossers! Ian I do find it strange that you are looking at BMW forums.

I read some of Giles Lambs posts.... personally, I think they are very useful and will continue to watch those threads for more useful information (despite it being a BMW forum!)
