Start will be from up North, Evesham, http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

Plan to do the A44 to Worcester, Bromyard, Leominster, Rhayader then country road it through the Elan Valley to Devil's Bridge and Aberystwyth. Rob - Just realised... I can't do Sunday as, I previously mentioned, I'm up the footie! We'll have to do the 5 Valleys tour at another time.

A good day out :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Thanks to Strongy, Grinjunky and Mrs Grinjunky (Karen) for joining me. 8-)

The first leg was hindered by road chippings and a few cars but it soon opened up to clear roads and time for 'progressive' riding ;) :-D :-D

Although I've done the Elan Valley road many a time it still produces a WOW for me. Awesome views. :-D :-D What was a shocker though was how low the lakes are.........hosepipe ban soon. Won't be able to clean my bike!! :?

Aberystwyth was a bit gusty and a few too many flying rats at the Prom cafe :x The council have now done a bike park for us...all railed off...and right next to the cafe. Better idea than the Stratford one 8-) :-D A quick bite to eat then off to spot some birds...the ones on the Prom were a bit rough :?

The Red Kite....WOW WOW WOW :o I've never seen so many Birds of Prey in one place...and fantastic colours too. How they don't crash into each other is beyond believe......must have done a Bike Safe   Well worth the visit :-D :-D

Some photos and video in Media....soon.

Thanks again...was still buzzing when I got home :-D :-D Good ride 8-)

It was a brilliant day out. Mrs grinjunky & I had a fabulous time.

Great route thanks Ruggie...lots of making progress (and boy did we make progress!)...the kite feeding was amazing , never seen so many of these birds in one place.

We beat the rain back to England, only catching a small shower. Smooth welsh roads are really good fun!

Look fwd to the next ride out...thanks again Ruggie & Strongbow for a great day.
