Hi

On Sunday 1st May Im going to Lake Vyrnwy via Bromyard, Clee hill, Clun, Sawmills etc etc. Beleive me the roads are stunning I did them a few weeks ago. They are that good I have to do them again      . We are ending up at the Lake where there is a cafe, but if you'd rather bring your own then thats fine.

I will come home via a faster route to get back at a respectable time

I will be meeting at bunny at 9:45am and leaving at 10am. Here is a map of where the Garage is if your not sure of its location http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=51.8638 ... 13036&z=17

Regards Strongbow

Hi

Gonna cancel this rideout due to a lack of interest. I was only doing this route to hopefully take a few people on it and show them some real good roads, but as only one person has replied to say they are coming its not worth it tbh. I will do something else!

Cheers

Strongbow

Shame....as I know the roads you're taking about are awesome!

An alternative then....who fancies Sunday lunch at Castle Combe....famous for its un-touched properties and used widely within the film industry. 8-)

See this link..........http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_Combe

Once we've done the grub we can decide where else to go, depending on the weather of course!

Wells...for the film setting of 'Hot Fuss' ? Good film

The roads will not be as good as Strongy's route though :(

Same starting point...Bunny.

Yes, it was a great day, lovely roads (apart from the Upton to Gloucester road which has just been re-surfaced) and good company. Just what you need, a chilled out ride.

Les.

Yeah...another good day with plenty of laughs.  Check out the photos.....once I've posted them  I pulled a couple of dogs...well tried to..they seemed more interested in a deflated ball

Did a different route to the one we planned....Gloucester, Ledbury, Bromyard, Tenbury Wells, Clee Hill (stop for grub...Red had chips..AGAIN!!) then back via Abberley, Knightwick then Upton. Realised once we got to Upton that there was a bit of a do on...the Folk Festival :o Loads of blokes with sticks dancing round with bells on :? Les had a little go but forgot his sticks, bells and face paint

Thanks guys :-D :-D :-D :-D
