Sunday 26th June - Les' Big One! (Now to be Bike4Life)

Ok, I need to put some miles in to make sure I am fit enough to ride all day in readiness for my Germany holiday. I am hoping to go to Llangollen to visit the Ponderosa Cafe. With a scenic return through Wales. Stop off at Craven Arms for coffee on the way.

This will be an all day ride in the region of 250 miles.

Meet at the Bunny about 9:00 am leave approx 9:15 am

Depends on how wet, don't mind the odd shower like we had at Kemble, but if it's heavy or persistent rain I will cancel. So here's hoping for a dry day.

STOP PRESS........Change of plan

We have been discussing a change of plan. The Bike 4 Life ride in aid of the Air Ambulance is taking place on this day. Several of us would like to take part in this run instead. The idea being to put the Llangollen run back until after the Germany trip and do this ride instead. I am happy to do this as an alternative.

Please post below if you are ok with this last minute change. I am happy to do the Bike 4 Life ride. (I will do a full day out on the bike mid week as I am still not back at work.)

Telephoned the number on the flyer, we can register on the day, however we need to be there early to do so. If we leave on time we should be ok as it's only half an hour up the motorway. Payment to take part is a donation on the gate. I am going to give them a tenner.
