    Sounds like a damsel in distress.

Get yourself a Photobook or Picasaweb account. Upload the pictures to that site then copy and paste the URL for each picture into a reply. Picasaweb tends not to suddenly delete your pictures like Photobook does and is available from Google.

Go to the Google search engine and at the top, click the 'More' tab then 'Photos'. Easy to do.

That's how I do it.... and it kind of works for me.

Right i'll do your job for you again shall i

Taken from my last reply this matter :? :? :?

Right a bit long winded but here goes:

1st, decided what picture you want to use:

You then need to adjust the size so it can be used, Avatar size must be within 120 pixels width and 120 pixels height, (mine is set at 75px width & 100px height to give you an idea).

You can use paint to adjust the size but its long winded to get it right as there is no real control to say what size you want, you have to keep shrinking the picture intill it is right, the best way to do it is to use Photobucket, if you do not have an account then register here: http://register.photobucket.com/ once you have an account you can then upload the picture you want to use to your new account, once you have uploaded the picture you then use the edit function above the picture, it will open up a new screen with the picture in above this you will see the option to resize it (click) it will then say NEW SIZE here is where you can suggest the size you want it to be i.e 75px wide by 100px height you might need to unclick the box that says (Keep Proportions) and you might need to play with it a little to get it to look right.

When you done that save it, go to your home page on photobucket and when you see the picture you can right click on it then use the save it option which you can then save to your pictures or something on your own computer: wallah you now have the right size picture.

Log onto to here and in the top left of the screen it says USER CONTROL PANEL (click)
then from the list on the left side click on PROFILE then from the same place click on the EDIT AVATAR you will then see a button which says UPLOAD from machine use the browse function to find your new picture and then submit and it should then be done for you.

After all this if it is any easier then you can email me the picture and i can do it for you if you would like james@gloucesterbikespecialist.co.uk and i can send you the smaller picture back which you can use.

Wow now im pooped second attempt as the 1st time was on the itouch and i lost it all before submitting

Here is my two pennys worth.

If you have a Photobucket (or similar account) Click on the upload images button.

Image

Select the file or files you want to uplaod and click open.

Image

Once the images are loaded they appear on a new screen.

Image

Select the save & share now button. On the next screen click return to album.

Image

On this page copy the text in the bottom box next to the one that says IMG Code.

Then paste it into your message.

Image

Repeat this for each image you want to load into your message. Finish your text and then check it with the Preview button below. If it's ok, then click Submit.

There you have it a simple guide to posting picture in the forum. (Next you will be wanting to know how to open a Photobucket acount  )

Les.
